You will need to raise 1.011 DISP the lower platen table. Flip the ratchet catch so it 1.011 DISP engages with the teeth on the ratchet gear as you crank 1.011 DISP up the table. WARNING! There are several teeth missing 1.011 DISP on the gear so watch and be CAREFUL! Pull the two stop 1.011 DISP pins and relocate them when the table is at the proper 1.011 DISP height. 1.012 DISP Place some spacers on the table to bridge the opening 1.012 DISP and set the cell under the ram. The cross bar crank on 1.012 DISP the upper right of the press will raise and lower the 1.012 DISP starting position of the ram when the hydraulic valve 1.012 DISP is in the OPEN position (OPEN is toward you). 1.013 DISP Close the valve on the hydraulic hand pump (closed is 1.013 DISP away from you) and adjust hydraulic pressure by pumping 1.013 DISP the hand pump. Adjust load to the 1.013 DISP nominal values that follow. 1.014 DISP Position the Standard Digital Indicator behind the press 1.014 DISP so you can see it while looking at the UUT. 1.015 DISP FOR ALL LOAD READINGS, APPLY FORCE SLOWLY! There is no 1.015 DISP check valve to hold the pressure when applied.
